West Angeles Church - Education & Enrichment Ministry
The West Angeles Church Education and Enrichment Ministry Program, run by John H. Wilson, III, offers participating youth mentoring programs such as Rites of Passage, after school and summer math, science, and writing enrichment programs, college admissions prep, college counseling and many other exceptionally high-quality educational offerings at significantly reduced cost, due to the generous assistance of West Angeles Church and community sponsors. The West Angeles Church EEM program also offers college tours to allow potential students and their parents the chance to economically tour various campuses and thoroughly investigate all affordable options for the child's college education.
The program has also developed active partnerships with organizations such as the African American Initiative for CSU, University of La Verne, George Washington University, EducateLA, National Association of Christian College Admissions Counselors, Seattle Pacific University, and BIOLA University to the benefit of parents and youth at West Angeles Church and in its surrounding community.
